Trip Summary

Meet your Tour Designer, Brian Stacey

Naturally inspiring, Costa Rica is all about adventure, whether it is during guided hikes into a wildlife-rich jungle or dancing barefoot on the beach, margaritas in hand, to the lively beat of Costa Rican music. There are wonders to behold at every turn – emerald filled craters that camouflage lunar landscapes, cloud forests that kiss the skies with canopied treetops, plantations ripe with sugar cane, coffee beans and decadent macadamia nuts… beaches that flirt with azure seas… and mangrove forests that welcome brilliantly colored tropical birds of all sizes and plumage. And there are lots of equally wonderful ways to experience them with Culturious… zip-lining, rafting, horseback riding, cruising... 2010 pricing starts at US $2,490 per person double. Maximum group size is 16.

Paradise in the Nicoya Peninsula

Posted by Sigurd Jimenez | August 24, 2009

Category: Travel Tips

The southern Nicoya Peninsula, until recently a destination a little too far off the beaten path for most travelers, has long been one of Costa Rica's most secluded gems. Roads here were virtually non-existent a few years ago and access was primarily by boat from the port town of Punta Renas. Recent improvements to Costa Rica’s transportation infrastructure, including a new road, have made it possible for visitors to reach this tropical paradise – and they are truly blown away by the natural riches they experience when they arrive here.
