South Africa & Namibia Tour Director

Your Tour Designer,

I was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and I decided to study abroad in Japan durying my Sophomore year of college.I had never been out of the country before and Japan's rich culture gave me a taste for the excitement of traveling, especially in the far East. Now I spend as much time as possible exploring the rich cultural history of Asia. Having visited over sixteen countries, my plan is to see as much of the world as possible. I spent a year living in Vietnam where I taught English to non-native speakers and developed a strong attachment to the people of this unique country.

My thoughts on South Africa & Namibia

An abundance of space in which to inhale deeply...

Namibia is celebrated for its vast open landscapes... an abundance of space in which to inhale deeply and bask in an infinite supply of blue, sun-bright skies and star-filled nights. Its immensity of space – it is the fifth largest country in Africa – is accentuated by the fact that it is the driest country south of the Sahara. But life there is, and in many diverse forms, from the Himba, one of the last true nomadic tribes on Earth, to the unique desert-adapted elephant and the bizarre Welwitchia plant.
