Situated within the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve bordering Namib-Naukluft Park in Namibia’s vast Namib Desert, Kulala Desert Lodge treats Culturious guests to magnificent views of the iconic red sand dunes of Sossusvlei and the surrounding breathtaking mountain scenery. The lodge’s individual thatch-and-canvas kulalas (meaning “to sleep” in Oshiwambo) are built on wooden platforms to catch the cooling breezes, and feature en-suite bathrooms with modern amenities, private verandas, and a rooftop deck where guests may sleep under the countless stars of Namibia’s night skies.
