Liability Waiver – Due to the active nature of these journeys, all guests will be required to sign Tauck’s form of liability waiver before the start of the tour, which includes an assumption of risk, release and indemnification by you.

Itinerary Changes & Price Flexibility – Tauck pledges to make every effort to operate all tours as advertised. Tauck reserves the right to alter or curtail the itinerary, or substitute sightseeing, hotels, and / or conveyances as deemed necessary. Any savings realized by these changes will be refunded to passengers. Any resultant added expense will be covered by Tauck. Note: Prices in this brochure may be modified due to unexpected significant external factors not forecasted at the time of printing.

Passports / Visas – For international travel, U.S. citizens need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond completion of the tour, plus visas for Cambodia and Vietnam, which may include an additional cost. Tauck will provide information and assistance for obtaining the required visas. Non-U.S. citizens should contact their booking agent or appropriate consulate for information on all necessary documents required.

Airline Security Measures – Travelers must provide identification in the form of a passport for international travel at the time of airport check-in. Your passport name must match the name on your tour reservation and airline ticket or you may be denied boarding.

Air Services – Airfare may be purchased through Tauck for travel originating in the United States. By using Tauck’s air services, you agree that Tauck, in purchasing, selling or otherwise arranging air transportation, is acting only as your agent and is not liable or responsible for any accident, death, personal injury, illness, property damage, delay or other loss or expense of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of any act of God, or any actions or omissions (including any failure to provide services) or default of, any carrier. All carriers are independent contractors and are not owned, managed, controlled or operated by Tauck. Your airline ticket constitutes a contract between yourself and the airline (and not Tauck), even if purchased through Tauck. Tauck is not liable for, and does not assume responsibility or accept claims with regard to, seat assignments, name changes, schedule changes, flight changes, cancellations, claims for a refund or reimbursement of airline ticket fees, or any other loss or expense incurred by you for any reason whatsoever (including, without limitation to bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization of a carrier or similar relief from creditors) when purchasing or using the carrier’s services. Tauck must handle ticketing for Tauck’s special fares, which are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed until reserved. Special fares cannot be combined with any other promotional offer. Tauck’s air services can only be used in conjunction with a Tauck tour. Tickets and/or electronic ticket numbers will be mailed with final documents. Should you cancel or change your air before or after departure, all airline cancellation and change fees will apply.

Membership & Health – Membership will be granted to all persons. Travelers should be in reasonably good health. Our journeys are active adventures which may include considerable walking on uneven terrain, involve stairs and steep inclines, touring at high elevations and visiting remote areas in newly-developing ecotourism destinations – frequently in warm weather. Please consult your physician for pre-departure health advice. Tauck reserves the right to terminate the tour of any persons who are abusive of others or whose behavior disrupts the operation of the tour.

Travelers Needing Special Assistance – These are active journeys which cannot accommodate physical limitations necessitating walkers, wheelchairs or motorized scooters and / or the like.

Photography on Tour – Occasionally, Tauck will use photographs taken by fellow guests or your Trip Guide on tour for promotional purposes. If you prefer that your photo not be used in marketing activities, please tell your Trip Guide at the start of your tour.

Tauck does not solicit, request or knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13. Tauck complies in all respects with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). Tauck may request certain information, such as name and age, about Your children if you register for an account on the Site, but in no event will Tauck attempt to contact any individuals under the age of 13 directly. All information regarding children under the age of 13 will be obtained from such children’s parents or legal guardians and will be utilized and shared in accordance with all applicable laws, these Terms and Conditions and Tauck’s Privacy Policy.

Limited License

Tauck grants to You a limited, revocable and non-exclusive license to access and make personal use of the Site solely for its intended purpose and for no other purpose. Tauck may revoke this license at any time and without prior notice, for any reason or for no reason, in Tauck’s sole discretion. No portion of the Site may be modified, copied or framed without the express prior written consent of Tauck except that You may make one copy of these Terms of Use for your personal records. Without limiting the foregoing, the information, data, software, photographs, logos, graphs, video, typefaces, graphics, music sounds, images, illustrations, designs, icons and other materials (collectively, “Content”) on this Site are copyrighted works of Tauck or its content providers.
