What's Included
All tour prices are per person in U.S. dollars. Prices include all accommodations, entertainment, special dinners, transportation, sightseeing, luggage handling, and services of your Tauck Director as specified herein.
Hotel accommodations are included with private baths. Two-bedded rooms are reserved in most hotels. Triples are usually two-bedded rooms plus a rollaway cot and are not recommended for comfort. Triples are not available on Provence and South Africa & Namibia.
Tauck Directors – Each trip is conducted by our professional Tauck Director who remains with the group throughout the trip's duration.
Meals – Meals are included as specified in the itinerary. Whenever possible, meals are choice of menu.
Gratuities Included – All appropriate gratuities for luggage handling, bellmen, doormen, dining room servers, housekeepers, local guides, ship and train crew, drivers and Tauck Director are included.
Luggage Handling & Restrictions – Luggage handling is included in the tour cost; however, due to space limitations aboard our vehicles, we ask that you limit your checked luggage to only one average-size suitcase per person. Most airlines require that checked luggage not exceed a weight of 50 lbs. per piece. Luggage exceeding the maximum restrictions is subject to expensive overage fees or is at risk of being left behind. Airlines revise luggage policies frequently, and often without notice; therefore Culturious cannot be held liable for additional fees or inconveniences imposed by the airline. We urge you to check with your airline before traveling to verify current size and weight limits. Note: Tours with on-tour flights as part of the itinerary are subject to separate weight restrictions for checked luggage. Please inquire upon booking or refer to your destination on our website at www.tauck.com for these restrictions. Additionally, guests on tour should limit their hand luggage to a small carry-on piece and only those items needed during the day. South Africa & Namibia: All light aircraft transfers in Namibia have a maximum luggage allowance of 20 kg (45 pounds) per person in soft carry-all bags. This is strictly adhered to and includes all camera equipment and carry-on baggage. If guests exceed this limit, they will have to pay considerable amounts to have a privately chartered plane to fly their excess bags around. If guests are unable to adhere, or do not want to adhere, to these baggage restrictions, then please advise us in advance. We do have a facility where guests can purchase an additional seat for carrying excess luggage. As inter-camp transfers are done by light aircraft, the guests' weight is a criteria. If any guests weigh in excess of 100 kg (220 pounds), please advise us as an additional seat needs to be booked and costed. We will provide each guest with a duffel bag to use for the five nights on safari in Namibia. The other luggage will be in safe storage in Windhoek – and reunited on the final day upon arrival at Windhoek Airport. Additional information regarding these luggage restricitons will be provided at time of booking.
What’s Not Included?
Airfare to the tour departure point and from the tour ending point is not included.
Hotel Rooms Before & After Tours – As a service, Tauck Culturious will make reservations before or after your tour. Rooms are reserved on a space-available basis and must be booked through us to qualify for Tauck’s special rates. These hotel charges will be added to the tour cost. Note: Airport transfers are included for these bookings.
Personal Expenses such as phone calls, room service, alcoholic and bar beverages, laundry, airline excess luggage charges, visa fees, vaccinations and other optional incidental extras are not included.
Luggage Responsibility – Culturious cannot be responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damage to luggage and personal effects. It is important that you have adequate insurance to cover these eventualities. Please refer to Guest Protection.
